In reply, I enclose copies of three

reports by Mr. G. P. Tate, in charge of the Indian Survey

Party.

Copies of the Map resulting from the

Survey of the New Territory will be furnished to you and

will so far as I am at present advised, be ultimately

published in the Colony.

Government of India regarding the preparation and produc-

tion of this Map by the Survey Department, India.
